To get results in the world of motorsport, you need a good team around you.
Lee Robins
One of Paul’s best friends, and one of the best rally mechanics you’ll ever find, Lee has worked on every car Paul has ever competed in. In fact, as the team prepares to debut the new car, Lee has also probably driven more miles in the new car too! Without his help, there’s no doubt that the car wouldn’t be complete, and I wouldn’t be rallying.
Matt Downer
Whenever we hit a snag, or need something that simply isn’t available off-the-shelf, Matt’s the man. A great engineer, and with 15+ years of Escort ownership under his belt, Matt has helped us out of loads of technical holes already. He’s also responsible for bullying us into user the car sooner rather than later.
Dave Smith (aka Smiffy)
Dave used to help out on events back in the 90’s, and we finally managed to tempt him back to the service area with the new car. A Ford man through and through, his return is surely linked to the new car having the right badge on it.
Paul now has a confirmed entry for the forthcoming Adrian Barker Memorial Stages Rally, organised by ERO motor club and held at the Swynnerton military training facility in Staffordshire.
