The Team PURE Digital Fiesta ST rallycar finally ran in anger last week when it was transported to Norway for a thorough shakedown ahead of the 2006 season. At the hands of owner Paul Alexander, the car completed four problem-free days of running during which a number of different setups and techniques were tested.

Paul – “There’s a chance that we may hire the Fiesta out during 2006, so we wanted to be 100% sure that everything is spot-on with the car. In four busy days the car comfortably covered more mileage than we would expect to do during a regular season without a single glitch, so we’re delighted that the hard work over the past few months has been worthwhile”

The car will next be seen in public at the Sound and Vision Show in Bristol over the 24th-26th February. Plans for the cars’ competitive debut in the UK will be announced in due course.
