On behalf of all of Mike Panes' family, his mother Moira, sisters Lindsey and Gillian and brothers Owen and Calum, Elizabeth and James would like to thank all of Mike's rallying pals for the kind thoughts, cards, letters and flowers sent to us following our sudden loss of Mike.

Though nothing can replace the gap Mike leaves in our family, we have all been humbled by the realisation of how many lives Mike touched and the high regard he was held in by so many people.

Whether you were greeted with a friendly comment or were the butt of one of his frequent insults Mike certainly made an impact on everyone - he clearly made sure that he wouldn't be forgotten.
